Nipples connect the spokes to the rim and are the decisive element
for a strong wheel. DT Swiss offers nipples for every cycling need:
From the lightweight alloy hex nipple with an integrated thread lock
system to the brass nipple which is well suited for E-bikes. New for
2012 is the superlight, inverted DT Hidden nipple adapted to the use
with high profile rims as well as the allround DT Pro Head ® nipple.
Both align automatically to the spoke angle thanks to the spherical
contact surface. The Pro Head nipple is predestined to be used with
E-bikes, since it aligns especially well with the highly angled, short
spokes normally used.
